are a 5 piece band playing a lively mix of Blues, Jazz, Rock & Swing numbers.
Based in New Mills in the Derbyshire High Peak, the band have been together since 2015. They were originally known as Percy & the Cellar Katz and were named after saxophonist & founder member Percy Arnfield. Percy sadly passed away in 2019.

Singer Karen has been performing for most of her life, her first recollection being singing Doris Day songs to the local kids at the age of seven! She was lead vocalist with The Major Clangers, a folk/rock group who gigged extensively throughout Manchester & the North West. While living in Germany, she reached No. 24 in the German hit parade with the song You Better Stop Me Now.
Guitarist Dave has many years’ experience in various blues, jazz & folk/rock bands, including appearances at blues festivals in the North West.
Phil, originally started drumming with a trio from school, mainly playing boogie woogie t' intervals" between sets of the booked act. These acts included Humphrey Littleton , and Keith Pendelbury and the Zenith 6. This led to an audition with the BBC, gaining a spot on mainstream TV
After a long gap into his 30's Phil started playing again with a variety of blues, pop and folk bands Venues including pubs , clubs and a number of festivals and parties in Great Britain and abroad.
Bands included: Diagnosin' the Blues; Meddlin' Relatives; Satellites; The Random Lurchers; The Heartlanders and a 10 years stint with Lousianna Highway, a New Orleans style Jazz Band
Phil's main drumming influences are Stanton Moore, Zigaboo Modeliste, Buddy Rich , whom he saw play live in Manchester as a teenager and his former drum coach Brendan Day, one of Britain's finest drummers.
Sax/keyboardist Dave and bassist Lawrence are also members of Kinder Blue jazz group (as are the other instrumental members of the band)
